The Coast Guard Mural, located on "B" dock in the Crescent City Harbor, was dedicated on July 3rd, 2015. It was Designed by Harley Munger of Piece by Piece Pottery, and sponsored by Elk Valley Artisans, Friends of the Coast Guard Auxiliary, U.S. Bank, the Humboldt Area Foundation, Sunrise Rotary International, the Wild Rivers Community Foundation, Piece by Piece Pottery, and the Crescent City Harbor.
Student leader in this project to was 7th grader Siena Noll.
The design illustrates the four Coast Guard boats assigned since 2001 to Flotilla 8-11 to protect our maritime community.
