Coast Guard Rescue
Crescent City Harbor, Crescent City

Available as a design in our online garment shop

In the Pacific Northwest, the ocean is a lifelong companion but can change instantly into a deadly adversary. This mural is dedicated to the guardians of our local seacoast for their eternal vigilance.

The Coast Guard Rescue Mural is mounted on the restroom and fish cleaning station in the Crescent City Harbor's small boat launch. The mural represents our local 25 foot rescue boat operated by the Coast Guard Auxiliary. This mural was built in collaboration with Elk Valley Artisans and Del Norte County Social Services. The artist in charge of the project was Harley Munger. The student Leader on this mural was Tara Silveressa. The mural was funded through a grant from the Humboldt Area Foundation and was constructed by kids from a program of Del Norte County Social Services.

The mural stands 7 feet by 8 feet.

Total Market Value = $14,000.00
